Below you’ll find one of my favorite salutations, candra namaskara — moon salutation, modified to meet the needs of someone whose knee don’t go for deep bending. Make sure your body enjoys the movement or you’ll be less likely to see and feel the positive effects.
The moon salutation works on opening the lower parts of the body. It’s cooling and relaxing and meant to be done a few times. The key to getting the full effects of the practice is in moving slowly with your breath. If it feels good, hold each pose for a breath or two. You can look forward to seeing more.
